A Finish, and a Shawnathanism!

I finished this yesterday:

 As usual, it looks much nicer in real life! I'm in love with this piece. To date, it's my favourite thing I've stitched. I'd like to make it into a pillow, but I haven't learned how to "finish" my work yet. So for now, off to the bin of things that need to be finished it goes! Trust me, it won't be lonely there!

My boss Shawn sometimes comes out with some pretty entertaining comments...and even more so because he often thinks he's funny...which makes it more funny. Today was no exception....

Me (after observing Shawn engaged in an intense phone conversation): What's going on?

Shawn: My rutabagas didn't TURNIP so I had to call the guy (he says with a huge smile)

Ha...ha....ha.....ha.

    I hope you squashed his joke. Love your snow and can't wait to see how you finish it off. Hey maybe you should take a road trip to our finishing party. Now there's a thought.
